Poster Competition
Have you noticed the wonderful colourful posters that we use every year to promote Spring Welcome Weeks?
The artwork on these posters is created by local children from Blackheath Public School and Mountains Christian College. Every year we ask them to come up with designs with the theme ‘Campbell Rhododendron Gardens’ which means they can create an artwork based on the flowers, insects, birds, or anything they are inspired by in the gardens.
This year we received a record number of entries and it was of course so difficult to pick the winners. In the end we had six designs which we felt would work well as a poster.
Congratulations to Marcus, Bianca, Matilda and Gabi from BPS and Horace and Evie from MCC. As well as having their colourful designs displayed around the upper mountains, they each won a $25 gift voucher from Glee Books.
Next time you are in Blackheath keep an eye out for the posters!
